Madison County faces challenges with budget

DESPITE A THREE PERCENT jump in Madison County’s total assessed value this year, supervisors say the coming year’s budget will still be a challenge.

“This coming year’s budget is going to be as hard as the past year’s budget, if not harder,” said District 1 Supervisor and Board President John Bell Crosby.
