STUDENTS AND teachers will have no problem getting to school, and I-55 commuters have about a month before they all have to drive in the southbound lanes between Madison and Ridgeland.
Crews with Hill Brothers Construction finished initial milestone work last week as part of an overall project to build a new split-diamond interchange at I-55.
The interchange will connect with Madison Avenue in Madison and a new road called Colony Park Boulevard, which hasn’t been constructed yet, in Ridgeland.
