Heavy storms, a collapsed sewer line, and a sewage pump malfunction have made for a bad combination in one Northside neighborhood.
Following last week’s storms, raw sewage backed up on Sheffield Drive, covering residents’ lawns and getting within 100 yards or so of a nearby preschool.
Jackson city officials were on the scene minutes after resident Ryan Annison contacted Ward One Councilman Quentin Whitwell.
