County hires law firm to help with development

MADISON COUNTY and its economic development authority (MCEDA) have hired the Butler Snow law firm’s government relations arm for a year as MCEDA puts a new long-term economic development plan in place.

Officials say the Ridgeland-based firm will play an advisory role and potentially get the county face time with federal lawmakers and other power brokers when needed.
