YEARS AFTER its last one closed, a new grocery store will soon be opening at Highland Village.
Construction is slated to begin in mid to late September on a Whole Foods, about six months after the high-end grocery chain announced plans to locate at the Northeast Jackson center.
Plans for the project have been approved by the city, said Vice President of Operations Guy Boyll III. “Everything’s going along as expected. We’re excited about getting started.”
