Malcolm White, executive director of Mississippi Arts Commission, was recently appointed by Gov. Phil Bryant as chairman of the Mississippi Blues Commission.  White will serve in the position for four years.  The Blues Commission is a body of 18 appointed commissioners representing major organizations and geographic/political regions supporting blues initiatives throughout the state.
