THE PEARL RIVER Valley Water Supply District (PRV) is advertising for engineers to study their water-level operation for the Ross Barnett Reservoir.
Currently the PRV lowers the water level for weed control in the winter and brings the water back up in the summer. But everyone likes the water higher year-round, PRV General Manager John Sigman said.
The PRV board of directors plans to award a contract April 19 for the water-level study.
