A letter from the Korean-American Presbyterian Church of Jackson stirred my interest. This letter from Pastor Hoonsang Won was cordially inviting me to their Sunday service on September 30.
This is a special event for Korean Thanksgiving – and is called “Chuseok” in the Korean language. Korean Thanksgiving (Chuseok) is one of the major Korean harvest holidays. This old Korean celebration, started some thousands of years ago, is in appreciation for the year’s great harvest.
