Natalie Marie Hunt and Dr. James Green Towery were united in marriage July 21, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Chapel in Jackson.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Rodney Arnell Hunt of Flowood. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Lee Towery of Indianola.

The Rev. James Twiner officiated the double-ring ceremony. Nupital music was presented by Eva Aultman Hart, organist and pianist; Rachel Rawlinson Towery, vocalist and sister-in-law of the bridegroom; and Kristen Glade Tutor, violinist. The scripture reader was Dr. Kyle Tanner Hunt, brother of the bride. The bride’s proxy was Amber Thompson Hunt, sister-in-law of the bride. The guest book attendant was Stephanie Koon Wagner, and the program attendant was Allyson Jones Runnels.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a designer gown of satin fashioned with a fitted strapless bodice embroidered in a silver floral motif embellished with mirror beads and crystals. From the dropped waistline fell the full skirt and chapel train trellised with pyramids of silver beaded embroidery. Her corded edged floating cape veil of illusion fell from a tiara of pearls and mirror back crystals. She carried a hand-tied English nosegay of white and blush pink roses.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was Amy Elizabeth Fountain. Bridesmaids were Amanda Wellington Annison, Carrington Bozeman Grant, Wendy Nicole Hawkins, Natalie Rebekah Smith, Amanda Rayburn Street, and Lesley Wellington Wiglesworth. Honorary bridesmaids were Shellye Buchanan Druey, Sara Katherine Lawrence, and Victoria Ruth Mitchell.

They wore ensembles with spaghetti-strapped tops of tea rose satin sashed with ivory belts centered with jeweled brooches worn with floor length chiffon skirts. Her honorary attendants wore matching dresses with tea length skirts. They carried hand-tied English nosegays of green mini hydrangeas, white stock, rossita, vendella roses, and pink bouvardia. Flower girl was Beth Tanner Myers, cousin of the bride.

The bridegroom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Brister Baldwin Barrett, Justin Mitchell Brewer, Clayton West Cordell, Jeremy Barnett Ervin, Nicholas Denson Garrard, and Marion Walter Towery, brother of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Jack Corder Tucker, nephew of the bridegroom.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at the Fairview Inn.

The day before the wedding, the bride was honored with a bridesmaids luncheon at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Len Jones. On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom’s parents honored the couple with a rehearsal dinner at the Fairview Inn.

After a wedding trip in St. Lucia, the couple resides in Brandon.

The bride is a physical therapist with Sta-Home Health Agency, and the bridegroom is a resident in internal medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
