Dr. and Mrs. Joe Robinson Ross announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Ross, to Jason Stuart Forbus.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. John Harvey Thompson and the late Mr. Thompson of Jackson, and Mrs. Joe Robinson Ross and the late Mr. Ross of Benoit.

Miss Ross was graduated from the University of Mississippi and the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine.

At Ole Miss she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and was presented by the Debutante Club of Mississippi.

She is finishing an anesthesiology residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and will be joining Jackson Anesthesia Associates.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Forbus of Jasper, Ala.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clinton A. Vickers of Ashton, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Karl Victor Forbus of Oxford.

Forbus is a graduate of the University of Alabama and was a member of Theta Chi fraternity.

He is the owner of Forbus Appraisal.

The wedding will be May 31 at Trinity Episcopal Church in New Orleans.
