Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pearson Arnold announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Catherine Arnold, to Marcial Davidson Forester III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcial Davidson Forester Jr.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Anthony Abraham, and Mr. and Mrs. James Davis Arnold, all of Vicksburg.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Edmund Johnston Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Marcial Davidson Forester Sr.

Miss Arnold was graduated from Jackson Academy in 2003.

In 2007, she was graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in applied science from the University of Mississippi where she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi honor society and Chi Omega fraternity.

She is currently in her second year at the University of Mississippi Physical Therapy School.

Forester is a 2003 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School.

He was graduated magna cum laude in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in history from the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies.

He was also a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He is a contract title abstractor.

The couple will exchange vows in a ceremony November 22 at First Presbyterian Church.
