Mr. and Mrs. Bill Price of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Catherine Price, to Jesse Randall English, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy English of Marianna, Fla.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Price of Meridian and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cato of Jackson.

Miss Price is a 2005 graduate of Madison Central High School and a fall 2008 graduate of Mississippi State University, where she received a degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations.

At MSU, she was a member of Chi Omega sorority and served as a student recruiter for MSU Roadrunners.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bill McCurdy of Molino, Fla. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse English of Pensacola.

English is a 2004 graduate of Marianna High School and a 2008 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a degree in management of construction and land development.

At MSU, he was a founding father and president of Beta Upsilon Chi fraternity.

He is an estimator with Brasfield and Gorrie General Contractors in Birmingham.

The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. January 10, at the First Presbyterian Church in Starkville.

Pastor Joseph Sherrard will officiate. After the ceremony, a reception will be held in the Hunter Henry Center at Mississippi State University.

The couple will live in Birmingham.
