Amity Luncheon Club met in May at River Hills Club with President Joyce Washington presiding. Hostesses were Willie Newton, Georgianne Muirhead, and Elizabeth Hunter, who offered the invocation.

Nancy Dennis and Georgianne Muirhead are new members. Vernon Goodsey sang a selection of gospel music.

Guests were Linda Walker, Eva Boyco, Louise Johnson and Cherie Hunter.

Village

The Village Luncheon Club met for Guest Day at the Country Club of Jackson in May. Hostesses were Marlene Liddell, Jean Dowell, Theresa Priebatsch and Margarette Wells.

Vera Davis and Ola Dohldstrom were winners at bridge. Laura Lea Cobb presented the program on her trip to New Zealand with her husband Dr. Tommy Alford, who worked in hospitals there for six months.

Wednesday

The Wednesday Luncheon Club met in May at the Country Club of Jackson with President Sue Phillips presiding.

Hostesses were Pat Hardin, Sue Humphreys and Alyce Palmore. Pat Hardin offered the invocation.

Flowers were awarded to Barbara Murphy, Thelma Sheridan and Sue Humphreys. Bridge winners were Barbara Hopkins, high; Sue Phillips, second.
