Cameron Chapman Bullock and Melvin Derek Bullock were united in marriage at 5 p.m. July 11 at First Presbyterian Church in Biloxi. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Stephen Britt. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hoyet Bullock of Gulfport.

The Rev. David Skinner officiated the candlelight ceremony. Nuptial music was presented by Melba Sipriano, organist; Lynne Sabin, pianist; Beth Laninga, violinist; Ben Niemitz, guitarist and vocal soloist.

The bride wore a strapless ivory taffeta gown with a pleated bodice and ball gown skirt featuring asymmetrical pick-ups. Across her waist, the bride wore a burgundy sash accented with an antique brooch. The gown featured a chapel length train. Her bouquet consisted of white Virginia roses, tulips, spray roses and lisianthus, hand-tied with satin burgundy ribbon with fleur-de-lis charms attached. Feathers and sparkles accented the bouquet. The bride wore assorted pearl necklaces of varying lengths. She wore pearl earrings that were a gift from the bridegroom.

Maid of honor was Theresa Kinsey of Clinton. Also attending the bride were Melissa Bullock, sister of the bridegroom; Jessica Cospelich, cousin of the bridegroom; Elizabeth Holman and Robin Williford Stevens of Bay St. Louis. Honorary bridesmaid was Helen Clare Rushton of Stone, England.

They wore black, strapless satin A-line gowns with ivory sashes that tied in the back. They each carried bouquets of white Virginia roses, stock, and alstroemeria, hand-tied with white satin ribbon. The attendants wore pearl necklaces. Sarah Denton Niemitz served as the bride’s proxy.

Best man was Christopher Rivers of Ocean Springs. Groomsmen were Emile Kourey III of Starkville; Donald McDowell of Gulfport; and Matthew Willison of Perkinston. Ushers were Steven McGuffie and David Wilson, both of Gulfport. Ring bearer was Conner Daley. Program and registry attendant was Kellye Gammell. Julie Skinner directed the wedding.

Following the ceremony, the parents of the couple hosted a candlelight reception at Herbert Wilson Community Center. Guests danced and enjoyed a catered buffet. Mary Armstrong of the Great Southern Club designed the reception.

After the reception the couple hosted a party at Island View Casino Resort with music by Isis. On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom’s parents hosted a seated dinner at Lookout 49 of Gulfport.

After a wedding trip to Laguna Beach, Fla., the couple is at home in Gulfport, where the bride is associated with the Mississippi State Port Authority as executive assistant to the Disaster Recovery Division and the bridegroom is a civil engineer with A. Garner Russell and Associates.
