Dr. and Mrs. Kerry Randell Foxworth of Starkville announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Lorraine Foxworth, to Eric William Tramel, son of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Tramel Jr. of Raleigh.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.S. Wofford and the late Edith Wofford of Starkville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bagwell of Conway, S.C.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Pauline Tramel and the late William Mondell Tramel of Jackson, and the late Dr. and Mrs. Carl Eric Hutz of Toms River, N.J.

Miss Foxworth is a graduate of Starkville Academy and Bryan College with a degree in English literature. She is the children’s librarian at the Starkville Public Library. Tramel is a graduate of Jackson Preparatory School and Mississippi State University with a degree in computer engineering. He is pursuing a doctorate in computer engineering at Mississippi State University.

The wedding will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Starkville December 12.
