Miss McKnight, Fisher to wed Jan. 16
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Allen McKnight Jr. of Greenville announce the engagement of their daughter, Mimmie Elizabeth McKnight, to Brian Doxey Fisher, son of Brig. Gen. and Mrs. Philip Richert Fisher of Clinton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Colquitt Weaver of Jackson, and the late Josephine Graham McKnight and Jack Allen McKnight Sr. of Clarksdale.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Sue Fisher Dillon and the late Philip Doxey Fisher of Jackson, and Winifred Davis and the late Loyd James (L.J.) Davis of Enterprise.
Miss McKnight was graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1996. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University in human development and family studies in 2001. Until recently, she was a child life specialist at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville. She is currently in graduate school at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., where she will receive her degree in childhood counseling.
Fisher is a 1998 graduate of Clinton High School. He received a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in marketing from Mississippi State University in 2002. He is a business development manager for Spectranetics of Colorado Springs.
The couple will exchange vows January 16 at 4:30 p.m. at Dunleith Plantation in Natchez, with a reception following in the home and terrace of Dunleith Plantation.
