Miss Williams and Adams to exchange wedding vows December 2 at The South

Gary Lynn Williams of Jackson and Paula Downs Garner of Ridgeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Katherine Williams, to Robert Brantley Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lee Adams of Ridgeland.

The bride-elect is the step-daughter of the late James Edwin Garner Jr., and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dewitt Williams of Jackson, Katherine Gant Goldstein of Vaiden and the late Sharp Cranford Downs of Bay Springs.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Lee Erna Adams and the late Earl Richard Adams of Ft. Walton Beach, and Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Bishop Wallace of Madison.

Miss Williams is a 2010 graduate of Ridgeland High School. She was graduated from Mississippi State University cum laude in 2014, with a bachelor’s degree in communication, and was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority.

Adams is a 2010 graduate of Ridgeland High School. He was graduated from Mississippi State University magna cum laude in 2014, with bachelor’s degrees in history and philosophy. He also was a member of the Mississippi State University football team and Sigma Chi fraternity. A 2017 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law, he serves as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Kenny Griffis on the Mississippi Court of Appeals.


The high school sweethearts will exchange vows December 2, at The South Warehouse in Jackson.
