“On the road again, can’t wait to get on the road again…” Vicki McKay is quick to establish traditions, and whenever we load the car for one of our garden-related destinations, no matter how hectic all the last-minute getting off has been, she’s singing by the time we get to the usual deer-crossing creek intersection.

If we were giving gold medals for columns, long-time columnist Felder Rushing would deserve one for a perceptive, heart-felt and appreciative column which he called “A Tribute in Yellow” about the life and work of Halla Jo Ellis, who lived quietly a full lifetime of 90 years.

I promised, in my last article, trying to get you to meet the early deadline March l, and the absolute deadline, which is tomorrow (well mostly,) why I believed that this convention of 2018 might be the greatest, and the largest in participation, of any in our American Daffodil Society history since 1964.
