Authors coming to Jackson

The Mississippi Book Festival will be held Saturday, August 18 at the Mississippi State Capitol. Now in its fourth year, the festival brings more than 150 authors to the capitol grounds to celebrate a love of books and writing, connecting contemporary authors with their fans and new readers. Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jon Meacham returns with his new book, “The Soul of America.” He will be in conversation with political consultant Karl Rove.
