Flash Dash

LeFleur East planning family event June 14

Runners and walkers alike will be “lighting up” LeFleur East June 14 as part of the 2018 LeFleur East Foundation Flash Dash. Highland Village will again host the event, which features a 5k run/walk followed by a “Flash Bash,” offering post-run food and beverages, live music from The Patrick Harkins Band, gift bags for race winners, and LED flashers and games for the kids. The event will begin at Highland Village in the parking lot in front of Talbots with a 7 p.m. pre-party. The run starts at 8 p.m.  An after-party, which lasts until 10 p.m., will follow the run. Cost is $30 per individual 5k participant. A $100-per-family deal (minimum four participants/maximum six) for immediate family members residing in the same household is also available.  A 1-mile Fun Run for participants ages 12-and-under will also be available ($20 per runner).
