This October would have been First Presbyterian Day School’s Holiday Potpourri's 46th year. This is the only fundraiser for the school which annually generates $200,000. However, because of the pandemic, school officials made the decision to cancel it. “Prioritizing the health and safety of our families takes precedence. So, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of our beloved annual Holiday Potpourri fundraiser.” The half-day event annually features a home and garden showcase, Bountiful Bakery, Garden & Gift Gallery, Silent Auction, Tasting Tea, musical performances by FPDS Strings Program and Honor Choir students, and more. Planning the event prior to the cancellation were (from left) Mary Lucia Smith, Becca Doe, Lori Smith, Melissa Boyd, Caroline Hogan, Leigh Taylor and Amy-Allison Russ.
