Rhodes scholar

At a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Jackson, Dr. Rob Pearigen, president of Millsaps College, introduced the speaker, Noel Barbieri, 2018 Rhodes Scholar. He is Millsaps’ second Rhodes Scholar in the last three years.  Barbieri also won the Truman Scholarship in his junior year, this being the premier graduate fellowship in the U.S.

Youth exchange

The Rotary Youth Exchange Program was the topic at a recent meeting of the Madison-Ridgeland Rotary Club. Guest speaker Grant Arinder, who serves as district chair for the exchange program, challenged the local Rotary Club to host an exchange student during a future school year. Emma Warren, Mark Waters exchange wedding vows in the Chapel at Livingston

Mr. and Mrs. Jason Ray Warren of Madison announce the marriage of their daughter, Emma Kathryn Warren, to Mark Ryan Waters, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Jeffrey Waters of Shreveport. The wedding was held November 11 at the Chapel at Livingston in Madison. The Rev. Doug Pierce officiated the double ring ceremony.
