Court of honor

At a recent Court of Honor held by Boy Scout Troop 18, David Purvis was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout. David is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stan Purvis. For his required Eagle project, David led his fellow Scouts in building a stone fire pit, wood benches and a firewood rack for a campsite at Camp Down Range in Clinton.


Malawi initiative

Dash 'n Splash

The fourth annual “Race for Brain Injury Dash N Splash” 5K Run, Walk and Roll was held recently at Old Trace Park in Ridgeland.  The race kicked off the day for the Independence Celebration at the Rez.  After the race, participants enjoyed watermelon, water balloons and playing on water slides.
