Jackson Academy has scheduled an immersion dyslexia clinic June 7-25 that is designed to maximize reading, spelling and written expression skills in a multi-sensory setting.
Students will be prescreened and placed into small groups that rotate through skills and activities. All students will be instructed by dyslexia interventionists using a blend of Orton Gillingham therapy that fits their individual needs. Parents will receive a post report showing gains in all areas addressed during the clinic.
Students will be assigned a session after they are screened.
Two sessions of the clinic will be offered each day. Session I will meet from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m and Session II will meet from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
The clinic is open to a limited number of students. The cost is $800 per student.
