Fletcher Leo Callaway entered into the presence of our Lord on September 23, 2019 in Jackson, MS at the home of his daughter Carol Hardy. A native of Oxford, MS and student of Hinds Jr. College where he met and married the love of this Jean Cockerham Callaway having 75 years of marriage.

My Mother’s Day cookbook

When my son was in kindergarten, a very thoughtful teacher came up with an excellent idea. She decided that it would be fun to get her students to submit their favorite recipe. She would collect these recipes and make a cookbook for the children to give their mothers for Mother’s Day.

Northsider Sarah Riley Jicka (Jackson Prep class of ‘17), was recently selected for the University of Alabama Equestrian Team. She was one of 25 riders chosen from a field of more than 80 candidates.  She is the daughter of Yvonne and Mark Jicka.
