Decedent Harvey Hill’s family received his autopsy report at the beginning of the summer in May. And it confirmed what they already believed to be true; Mr. Hill died of multiple blunt force traumas while staying a night in the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.

An unidentified band of revelers blocked I-55 just north of Lakeland Drive over the New Year's weekend, spinning circles in their vehicles. 

Police said the incident occurred Friday night at 11 p.m. and blocked traffic for an hour. Traffic was so backed up, it prevented police from responding quickly.

Frances Anne Fortner was driving along Ridgewood Road around 1:30 p.m., when she hit a manhole cover and her car flipped, according to Precinct Four Cmdr. Keith Freeman.

The vigil will be at 7 p.m., on the school's campus.
