Blair Lynn Richard and Jeremy Manship Phelps were married in a late afternoon ceremony October 3 at the Duchman Winery in Driftwood, Texas. The wedding was held outdoors against a backdrop of a vineyard.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russ Richard of New Iberia, La. and Mr. and Mrs. Matthew McKneely of North Richland Hills, Texas. Her paternal grandparents are the late Patrick and Margaret Richard and her maternal grandparents are Maudrey Champagne and the late Harold Champagne of Breaux Bridge, La.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven A. Phelps of Madison. His paternal grandparents are Roxie Phelps and the late Manship Phelps of Ridgeland. His maternal grandparents are the late Leo and Jewell Schwinler.
The couple was joined by matron of honor Brittni Griffith of Northlake, Texas and best man Aaron Clayton of Bella Vista, Ark.. In addition to numerous bridesmaids and groomsmen, the flower girl was Adeline Griffith and ring bearer, Jack Schemmel. The bride’s brother, Brock Richard, officiated the wedding.
The bride is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University, Denton, Texas where she received her bachelor’s degree in social work. She also received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is a licensed medical social worker for United Health Group.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Mississippi State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in industrial technology and was graduated Cum Laude. He received an additional bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business information systems. He is a software deployment manager at Change Healthcare.
After a wedding trip to Austin, the couple are making their home in Northlake, Texas.
