A turn lane is being added to Highland Colony Parkway at the intersection leading to Costco.
Northbound lanes of Highland Colony Parkway, between Costco and Lake Harbour Drive, will be closed today from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The northbound right turn lane from Highland Colony Parkway to Lake Harbour Drive will remain open.
According to the Public Works Director in Ridgeland, it is necessary because there is no traffic que before entering Costco.
The construction has been underway for several weeks. Two new traffic lights were installed at the intersection, and now a turn lane is being added, to organize the traffic congestion new to the area.
