Trustmark announced the opening of the application portal for additional business funding through the Small Business Administration Paycheck Protection Program. Applications by eligible businesses will be accepted through an online portal for a safe, secure and expedited process.
The application is located at trustmark.com/ppp, along with helpful information such as a list of the required documents needed to apply and links on eligibility requirements established by the SBA. The Coronavirus Relief Act signed into law on Dec. 27, 2020 includes additional PPP funding to assist small businesses affected by COVID-19.
After an application is submitted online, Trustmark associates will review the application package as quickly as possible and then submit it to the SBA, or reach back to the applicant to clarify anything that might be needed to comply with program guidelines.
Once a decision is reached by the SBA, Trustmark will complete the funding process for all approved loans through the secure, on-line portal.
