Top cop

The Rotary Club of North Jackson recently honored Jackson Police Officer Patrick Williams as the Precinct 4 Officer of the Quarter.  Officer Williams was called to the scene of an apartment shooting and, after one suspect claimed that she had accidentally struck the victim with a warning shot, determined that it was actually a second suspect (the first one’s roommate) who had pulled the trigger. Shown are (from left) Club President Greg Campbell, Officer Williams and Steven Orlansky, committee chair.
