St. Andrew’s Episcopal School kindergarteners participated in a fun Global Studies unit to explore other cultures through social studies, activities, and lessons. The unit culminated in an in-school field trip to Japan, Ghana, France, and Brazil. Children were encouraged to wear native dress from a country or culture of their choosing. Some highlights from their travels were viewing and handling Japanese currency, making collar necklaces from Ghana, eating croissants in France, and making Carnival masks in Brazil.
