The wedding ceremony celebrating the marriage of Selby Rebecca Entrekin and Michael Dillon Greer was held at the Chapel at Plein Air in Taylor on November 2 at 6:30 in the evening.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Selby Entrekin of Madison. She is the granddaughter of Virginia Selby Entrekin of Hattiesburg and the late Reverend Roderick Louis Entrekin, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Leon Williamson of Eupora.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Monette Greer of Clinton. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Emell Greer of Port Gibson and Shirley Deer, and the late Dr. George Wendell Deer of Clinton.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by both of her parents. She wore a lace designer gown, covered in shimmer tulle with iridescent beading and a cathedral train. The sleeveless gown featured an illusion deep-v neck with a sheath style silhouette.
The bride carried a bouquet of red, peach and white roses, accented by café au lait dahlias and greenery custom wrapped from her mother’s satin and lace wedding dress.
Maid of honor was Lillie Entrekin, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Whitney Crews, Hayden Edwards, Elizabeth Ervin, Melanie Greer, Hart Martin, Sarah Medeiros and Meredith Parker.
Best men were the bridegroom’s father, and his brother, Stephen Greer. Groomsmen were Alec Arena, William Ault, Matt Downing, Austin Phillips, Corbin Stanford and Daniel Terral. Ushers were Jacob Breithaupt, Alex Ellis, and Dylan Ware.
The flower girls and attendants were Catherine Ann Hill, Marian Hill and Henry Hill, cousins of the bride.
The ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Kim Parker with music presented by Gayle Entrekin Moritsugu, flautist; Marco DeVera, violinist; and Phyllis Long, cellist. “Ava Maria” was performed by Langston Boles, tenor.
Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted by the bride’s parents at the Mill at Plein Air. The music was presented by Sam Mooney.
On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom’s parents honored a rehearsal dinner at Lenora’s on the Oxford Square.
After a wedding trip to Antigua, the couple is at home in Oxford.
