Miss Lott and Schmitt planning wedding in New Orleans ceremony

Nina Dunnam Lott of Charleston announces the engagement of her daughter, Olivia Dixon Lott of Charlotte to Stephen Patrick Schmitt III, son of Michelle Sansone Schmitt and Stephen Patrick Schmitt Jr. of Charlotte.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Clarence Lee Lott Jr. of Jackson. She is the granddaughter of Hazel Robinson Dunnam and the late John Mitchel Dunnam Jr. of Madison, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lee Lott Sr. of Jackson.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Erma Marie Sansone and the late Anthony Salvadore Sansone of St. Louis and Ruth Frances Schmitt and the late Stephen Peter Schmitt of Rochester.

Miss Lott was graduated from Jackson Preparatory School in 2006. She attended the University of Mississippi and was graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies minoring in art, English, and history. At Ole Miss, she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta fraternity.

Miss Lott was presented by the Debutante Club of Mississippi in 2007. She is currently working in interior design and focusing on her passion, acting.

Schmitt was graduated from Charlotte Catholic High School in 2006 and attended Western Carolina University. At Western Carolina, he was a white water rafting coach. He is the co-owner of Stephen P. Schmitt and Co.

The couple will exchange vows May 29 in the Royal Garden Terrace at the Omni Royal Orleans in New Orleans in a family wedding.
