Ulmer and Fullen exchange wedding vows October 12 at the Ice House

A wedding ceremony celebrating the marriage of Sarah Christian Ulmer and Culley James Fullen was held at the Ice House in Jackson on October 12 at 5:30 in the evening.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Coleman Ulmer of Madison. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Green Ulmer of Jackson, and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Earl Dhonau of Ridgeland.

The bridegroom is the son of  Debbie Arnold Fullen of Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Allen Fullen of Waskom, Texas. He is the grandson of Jeanne Coker of Madison.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by both of her parents. She wore a Paloma lace gown with a plunging neckline bodice and double beaded bands across the midriff and waist. The sleeveless gown featured v-shaped Italian tulle inserts at the side seams on the bodice with a full circle skirt and pockets. It was finished with horsehair edging on the lace hem and an open back.

She wore a cathedral length veil accented by pearl hair pins. Her accessories included diamond earrings and blue satin heels with a handkerchief made from the lace of her grandmother’s wedding dress.

The bride carried a hand tied, garden style bouquet, overflowing with David Austen garden roses,  Moonstone roses, petite roses, lisianthus, ranunculus, and snap dragons.  It was framed with seeded eucalyptus, Italian ruscus, and willow eucalyptus.

Matron of honor was Laura Clark of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Jordan Brasher, Audry Enns, Helen Geary, Wendy Morell, Molly Perkins, Bailey Shoemaker, Emily Trotter, and Eliza Grace Ulmer.

The bridegroom’s best man was Hunter Wallace of Baton Rouge. His groomsmen included Jeremy Jarvis, Will Slayton, Josh McCullough, Andrew Grigor, Walker Ainsworth, Joby Fullen, Tracy Fullen and Cole Ulmer.

The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Reuben Antvelink and music was presented by cellist Courtney Kinzer Blackwell.

After the ceremony the parents of the bride hosted a reception at the Ice House with dinner and dancing.

On the eve of the wedding the bridegroom’s parents honored the couple with a rehearsal dinner at the Summertree Clubhouse in Madison.

After a wedding trip to Thailand, the couple will be at home in Jackson.
