Hartfield Academy opens doors to major expansion

Hartfield Academy recently opened its newly expanded and renovated main campus at 1240 Luckney Rd.

This expansion and renovation was made possible in part by Hartfield’s inaugural capital campaign, Undeniably Different.  Through the capital campaign, Hartfield Academy raised nearly $4.5 million to support its expansion and renovation efforts.

New features of Hartfield’s main campus include a new high school building with interactive, technology classrooms and science labs, high school administrative offices and an IT Help Center; the Thomas W. Colbert Theater, a state-of-the-art, 300+ seat venue for school drama productions, weekly chapel and special events; a new Plaza that serves as the main entrance and heart of campus; the Cockrell Administrative Offices; an updated and redesigned dining hall; a relocated playground; and enhanced parking and traffic flow.

“The response to our capital campaign has been incredible.  From parents to grandparents, teachers to board members, our patrons faithfully and generously supported this project.  We are grateful for the individuals who made sacrificial gifts that helped make this expansion and renovation a reality,” said Lora Maples, director of development.
