The Grace Crossing voting precinct will be holding the June 5 congressional election primaries at Madison Crossing Elementary School.
“We’re requesting that we move the Grace Crossing precinct temporarily for only the month of June,” District 3 Election Commissioner Pat Truesdale said. “It would be for the elections of June 5 and 26, if that so happens with the run-off.”
In a letter to the county board of supervisors, Truesdale stated the voting equipment will be delivered Monday, June 4, and election times will run on June 5 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
“We would only need to utilize the school’s front foyer… for the poll workers.”
The board unanimously approved Truesdale’s request.
