Debra Lynne Hines announces the engagement of her daughter, Kelly Anne Hines, to William Ross Weems, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Belk Weems of West Point.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Joe Philip Hines of Jackson, the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roland Edward Hanke of Roselle, Ill. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Milburn Odell Hines of Mount Prospect, Ill. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Barbara Bailey Randall and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Bennett Randall Jr. of Indianola and Mrs. Ralph Hicks Weems Jr. and the late Mr. Weems of West Point.
Miss Hines is a 2009 honor graduate of Jackson Academy. She was graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi where she received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. At Ole Miss, she was a member of Phi Mu sorority and Phi Kappa Phi honor society. She is a member of the Junior League of Jackson and is a trust officer in the Trustmark Private Wealth Division.
Weems is a 2005 honor graduate of Oak Hill Academy. He attended Mississippi State University where he earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration. While at Mississippi State, Weems was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and served as rush chairman and vice president. He is a first vice president with the BankPlus Private Client Group.
The couple will exchange vows on March 27 at Fondren Church.
