Local school officials and parents are working to fight the vaping epidemic that is sweeping the nation.

Spillway Road Project

Work is slated to begin soon to improve traffic at the intersection of Spillway Road and Northshore Parkway/Old Fannin Road.

The long-term goal is to ease traffic at the busy intersection, which has approximately 30,000 vehicles using it daily.

Stan Buckley on But God Ministries

Stan Buckley is founder and director of But God Ministries in Ridgeland. The Madison resident started the group in 2011, around the time he stepped down as pastor of First Baptist Church of Jackson. After suffering a back injury, Mary Kate Shearer is attending Indiana University Bloomington and is now part of the ballet program at the Jacobs School of Music.
