Landowners

Northsiders who recently donated more than 10 acres of wooded land to Jackson Prep were guests on the school campus. The property, which is adjacent to Prep, is now officially part of Prep’s campus, increasing the property size to 84 acres.



Toys for tots

Olde Tyme Commissary has teamed up with students at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School to collect donations for the annual Toys for Tots Drive. Toys may be dropped off at Olde Tyme Commissary in the Renaissance in Ridgeland through December 15.


Rowdies

The Jackson Academy Rowdies are a group of senior boys who promote school spirit at pep rallies and athletic events.

Understanding the history and traditions of Thanksgiving is one of the lessons of Squanto Day at Jackson Academy, where second grade students share a special meal with one another. A second lesson is to share the meal and fellowship with grateful hearts.
