Mary Poppins

Jackson Academy’s performance of “Mary Poppins” promises to be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, with a cast of students including (from left) Lucy Allen, Latham Nance, Reese Overstreet, and Willis Thigpen. The show runs October 28-30 and November 4-5, with evening performances at 7 p.m. and 2 p.m. matinees on Sundays.




Senior maids

The senior maids elected by their class at St. Joseph Catholic School are (from left) Mary Scott Wolf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Wolf; Leah Blevins, daughter of Dr. Phil Blevins and MaryJo Blevins; Amari Wells, daughter of Felicia Wells; and Akili Lewis, daughter of Nkemdili Lewis and the late Vassel Lewis.



Ends season

Jackson Academy junior high football players (from left) Parker Grant, Daniel Adams, Harrison Johnston, and Julian Palmer enjoyed their final pep rally before closing out the season. 


Tour the schools

Paul Gallo, host of the Gallo Radio Show on SuperTalk Mississippi, recently toured New Summit School, Mississippi Dyslexia Center, and Spectrum Academy. He observed different classroom settings and learned about the numerous services the school has to offer. Tours are available Monday-Friday. To set up a tour call 601- 982-7827.
