Outstanding Raiders

Ava Ladner

Ava Ladner is the 2017 recipient of the Jane Gibbons Memorial Scholarship, which is awarded to a Jackson Academy sixth-grade student who demonstrates loyalty to the school, possesses a promise of music ability, and has a Christian spirit of encouragement and kindness.

Merritt Nations

Merritt Nations is the 2017 recipient of the Higgins Family Scholarship, which is presented to a Jackson Academy student who exhibits a spirit of hard work, moral character, compassion for others, and commitment to improving their school and community.

Skylar Alexander

Skylar Alexander received Jackson Academy’s 20th Century Endowed Scholarship Award, which was established in 1998 by an anonymous donor. This award recognizes a student who possesses leadership skills, is well-rounded in his or her academic and extracurricular pursuits and comes from a Christian home.

Natalie Ford

Natalie Ford is the recipient of the Teen Trendsetters Excellence in Leadership and Service Award, representing the partnership between Jackson Academy and Spann Elementary in the Barbara Bush Foundation’s Teen Trendsetters program which recognizes deserving teen mentors.
