Plan fund-raiser

First Presbyterian Day School’s Holiday Potpourri fund-raiser will be held October 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the home of Cherry and Ted Duckworth in the Eastover neighborhood.


Camouflage

Kindergartners at First Presbyterian Day School dressed in camouflage as they finished their studies of the letter C.



Go Gold

Jackson Academy’s Go Gold pep rally glittered as the school raised awareness and support for pediatric cancer research. Mystix dance

The Rosa Scott JV Mystix dance team recently held their summer camp for the 2016-2017 season. During the four-day private camp, the team was taught by a choreographer from American All-Star, based in Louisiana.


Boosters

The goal of the Germantown High School MAVS Booster Club is for student athletes to be ambassadors for the Mavericks not only on the field but also in the classroom. Shown are (from left) Josiah Thomas, Larry Taylor, club president, and Emma Simpson.



Tea parties

Students in Jackson Academy’s preschool celebrated the start of the school year with tea parties. Sharing cookies and other sweets gave (from left) Carmen, Claire and Adam Thrash a special reason to smile.


Flood buckets

Christ Covenant School partnered with Mt. Salus Christian School, First Presbyterian Day School, and Hartfield Academy in a hurricane relief project. Christ Covenant School focused on flood buckets for the project and collected items to assemble 100 buckets.

Aaron Pelch, interim athletic director and head football coach at Millsaps College, has been formally named as athletic director. Pelch will continue to serve as head football coach.
