The Mississippi State Society Colonial Dames XVII Century elected new officers at the 55th Annual State Conference.  New officers elected were Debbie Cannon President, Rev. Samuel Swayze Chapter; Melissa Holomon, first vice president, Magnolia Chapter; Annis Dickerson, Rev. Samuel Swayze Chapter; Irene Dickinson, chaplain, Thomas Lacy; Frances Aust, recording secretary, Ensign John Sheldon; Princella Nowell, corresponding secretary, Rev. Samuel Swayze Chapter; Toni Layer, organizing secretary, Rev. Samuel Swayze Chapter; Vicki Wilson, teasurer, Rev. Samuel Swayze Chapter; Kathy Henry, historian, Rev.
