Honor veterans

The Museum of Mississippi History and Mississippi Civil Rights Museum partnered with the Jackson Regents Council, Local Chapters of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Mississippi Veterans Affairs, and Mississippi War Veterans Memorial Commission to honor Mississippians who serve and have served in the United States Armed Forces. The event was held at the Two Mississippi Museums. The event also commemorated Armistice Day, the signing of the agreement on November 11, 1918 to mark the end of World War I.
