Celebrate Mississippi

Jackson Academy students (from left) Mya Coins, Alex Guild, Abby Fielder, and Lucy Allen have been recognized in the Mississippi Children’s Museum’s ‘Celebrate Mississippi’ art competition. Allen’s art earned first place in the statewide contest for grades 6-8, while Coins and Fielder both earned special recognition for their visual art pieces. Guild’s poem “Mississippi, Land of the Free” won second place in the K-6 division.
