Harrison Grimes

Harrison Grimes, a senior at Germantown High School, has been selected as one of four semifinalists in Mississippi for the 2018 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program.
The 2018 Presidential Scholars will be selected on the basis of their accomplishments in many areas, including academic and artistic success, leadership, and involvement in school and the community.  Grimes’ accomplishments include recognition as a National Merit Finalist and all-STAR Student. He has earned awards for the highest grade point average in numerous classes and holds a GPA over 100 and a perfect 36 on the ACT. Grimes has been active in student government throughout high school and currently serves as senior class president. He is also involved as an officer in the Spanish Club, a member of Beta Club, and a member of Math and Science competition teams. Grimes volunteers as a Junior Ambassador for the City of Madison among numerous other volunteer activities. He has also won multiple awards as part of the Future Problem Solvers Program.
