Ragsdale and Love exchange wedding vows April 28 in Panama City

Elizabeth Ryan Ragsdale and John Houston Love were united in marriage April 28 in a family wedding at the Carillon Beach Chapel in Panama City. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Way Rutherford.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brent Parker Ragsdale of Memphis. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Yancy Love Jr. of Jackson.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of floral lace blooms on the bodice with a flowing tulle skirt with a soft blush lining and pearl buttons down the back. She carried a bouquet of white and ivory soft blossoms and succulents.

Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted by the bride’s parents at Carillon Beach.

On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom’s parents hosted a dinner in the red loggia of Caliza Restaurant in Alys Beach.

After the wedding celebration, the couple spent several nights at The Pearl in Rosemary Beach before returning to their new home in Nashville.

The bride is an artist working in several mediums including watercolor, acrylics, oils, and chalk. The bridegroom is a professional photographer/videographer furthering his education in web design and computer programming.
