Marks and Macumber exchange wedding vows at Providence Hill Farms

Chanci Danielle Marks and Corey Dean Macumber exchanged vows December 1 at Providence Hill Farms.

The bride is the daughter of Simon and Terry Marks of Flowood. She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. Hunter Daniel and late Margie Bowman, and the late Simon and Rose Marks.

The bridegroom is the son of Kevin and Chris Macumber of Flora. He is the grandson of Mary Macumber and the late Laurie Macumber and the late Vanis and Betty Ely.

The ceremony was officiated by Jim Ainsworth.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory designer gown which had a beaded lace bodice featuring a deep v-back and sweetheart neckline. The skirt was chapel chiffon over empress crepe trimmed in beaded lace. A family chapel length veil completed her ensemble. The bride carried a white calla lilies and roses bouquet.

Miranda McDaniel was matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Samantha Elleson, Marian Eichholz, Nicole Marks, Brooke Gonseth, and Emily Holiday. The flower girl was Ely Reed Black and the bride’s proxy at rehearsal was Rose Macumber, the bridegroom’s sister-in-law.

Chris Nowell was best man. Groommen include Chad Macumber, brother of the bridegroom; Si Marks, brother of the bride; Colton Schmidt and Jake Reeves.

Following the ceremony, the wedding party dined at numerous food stations and danced to the music of Spencer Daniel and The Rogue Tones, cousin of the bride.

On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Gathering in Livingston.

The bride grew up in Flowood and attended Northwest Rankin High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from University of Mississippi in dental hygiene. She is associated with City Dental DC in Washington D.C.

The bridegroom was raised in Flora and attended Tri-County Academy and Mississippi State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is with the Republican National Committee in Washington D.C.

After a wedding trip at the Five Star Resort in Turks and Caicos, the couple is at home in Washington, D.C.
