Miss Allen and Crump planning August 17 wedding at Grace Baptist in Virginia

Mr. and Mrs. David Bennett Allen of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Elizabeth Allen, to Joshua Konstanzer Crump, the son of the Honorable and Mrs. David Nuttall Crump Jr. of Front Royal, VA.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. William Jesse DuBard of Drew and the late Mr. DuBard, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Neville Gray Allen of Laurel.

The Reverend Allen was graduated with honors from Jackson Preparatory School and cum laude from Vanderbilt University. She received a master of divinity from Wake Forest University School of Divinity. She is the senior pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Richmond.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Beverage of Front Royal, and the late Mr. and Mrs. David Nuttall Crump Sr. of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and the late James Landis Gibbs Jr. of Front Royal.

Crump was graduated from Warren County High School and Virginia Commonwealth University. He received a master of city and regional planning and a master of public administration from Ohio State University. The prospective bridegroom is a city planner in Hanover County, Virginia.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, August 17 at Grace Baptist Church in Richmond.
