Miss Baker and Eby planning March 22 wedding in an Austin, Texas setting

Mr. and Mrs. Duke Ivan Baker of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Lorianna Jane Baker, to Conor Michael Eby, son of Dr. Thomas L. Eby and Dr. Mary M. O’Donoghue of Ridgeland.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nelson Gilley of Philadelphia, Margie Duke Baker of Jackson, formerly of Nashville, and the late Lt. Col. George Donald Baker. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. O’Donoghue of Straffan, County Kildare, Ireland and the late Dr. and Mrs. Lee George Eby of Whitefish Bay, Wis.

Miss Baker is a 2011 honor graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. She was graduated in 2016 from Mississippi State School of Architecture with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. She is an architectural designer at Davies Collaborative in Austin.

Eby is a 2011 honor graduate and a Star Student of Jackson Preparatory School. He was graduated from Stanford University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. In 2016, he received a master’s from Stanford University in electrical engineering. He is a software engineer in Austin.


The couple will exchange vows March 22 at the Gather on Monroe in Austin, with a reception to follow at the venue. The couple is at home in Austin.
