Miss Barbour, Peaster to exchange wedding vows October 6 in Yazoo City

Mr. and Mrs. Henry LeFlore Barbour of Yazoo City announce the engagement of their daughter, Lucile LeFlore Barbour, to Joshua Dixon Peaster, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Rhorer Peaster IV of Yazoo City.

Miss Barbour is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Carroll and the late Nettie L. Carroll of Yazoo City, and Mr. and Mrs. Jeptha F. Barbour III of Jackson. 

Peaster is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Rhorer Peaster III of Yazoo City and the late Mr. and Mrs. Francisco Añgel Soldevila of Clarksdale.

The bride-elect is a 2013 graduate of Manchester Academy and was graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2017, with a degree in integrated marketing and communications.  She is currently executive assistant to the finance director of the Republican National Committee in Washington, D.C.

The prospective bridegroom was graduated from Manchester Academy in 2013, and from the University of Mississippi in 2017, with a degree in managerial finance. He is currently a staff assistant in the Senate Majority Leader’s office in the U S Capitol in Washington, D. C.


The couple will be married October 6, at First Presbyterian Church of Yazoo City with a reception following at the home of the bride.
